I really wouldn't believe DirtWheels, they print what they are told to print no matter if its the truth or not. Its almost like a tabloid, only with some true stories.

I can't see why they would hold back. The 400 and 450 aren't really the same market segment. The 400 is entry level, and the 450 would be an advanced machine. And besides, everybody waiting for a 450, already has a 400!!!! And a lot of folks are going to get tired of waiting, and buy something else.

From the article: "Honda is under assault in virtually every ATV category and the company has seriously lagged behind the other major ATV manufacturers with little in the way of new, exciting and competitive products, especially in the sport ATV category. The rumors we have heard, are that Honda was all set to release a new CRF450 high-performance quad at this year's dealer show in Chicago, but it was nixed at the last minute when upper management felt that it would seriously cut into sales of existing warehouses full of 400EX's."

That's funny, I've talked to two different dealers in my area, and since the Z's release, neither have a single new ex. Seems to me they're just shooting themselves in the foot.

I tried 4-5 times to access the Dirtwheels ''scoop'' where its says click here for more information. Are you guys able to access that ? If so, can you make a copy on this post.

Thanks

they had better put the crf450 engine in it, not the 650 enduro engine! we need something better then the 250R was. i think the 650 would be too heavy. ...who knows if it's the truth. i think dirtwheels wrote that to put some fire under honda's feet and hopefully get them moving. big red is being left behind, and publically stating that might move them along a little quicker... they have a reputation to uphold ya know!
