We need more threads like this one. Too many other guys are shouting back and forth over who's ride is faster, what a bunch of whiners!! I love my 300 EX despite the difficult choke (besides, how long do you use it, a minute or two?) or the reverse procedure that was concocted by a disco dancer. I read a story in a ATV mag five years ago when they first came out that picked the 300 EX over the Warrior, Blaster, Mojave, and a Polaris. That was all I needed to read to help me decide. I drove 90 miles to a dealer who had some '94s left over (the 95's were out) at $400 less than the 95's and bought one without even riding the thing. I have put a new battery in and bought new Holeshot's (last summer) and will soon replace my chain. Besides oil changes and valve adjustments, this thing has cost me next to nothing and has less problems than my wife's new Mercury (she likes to drive over nails!!). I had a ATC 200X about fifteen years ago and it was as good as the 300 EX is. I also have a 1985 ATC 110 in my workshop that I bought for $250. It ran after I cleaned the gas tank and carb out! I would like to get a Recon for my wife and then I will have more Honda's than Ford's in my yard. Thanks again for a good discussion board.

u wanna hear about a High quality honda !
One of my friends has an 88 TRX 300 FW and that thing has been abused so bad its not even funny
it has a sheet of plastic riveted on for a fender (a crazy carpet that u slide on the snow with) both leavers are broken off , so u use the rear pedal, it still is working hard though hauling coolers along out poker runs!
