I have never seen one of these. In Western Canada, I have seen the Fourtrax,Foreman,Rubicon,and the new Rincon. I have never seen anything with the name Rancher or anything with the name Recon on it. Are these only sold south of the border or what? What sizes do they come in (CC'S).[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

i'm not sure about the Rancher, but a Recon is a 250cc two-wheel drive utility fourwheeler. i dont know if they are only sold "south of the border." hope this helps.

 

to clarify it for you the Rancher is a 350 it look the place of the fourtrax 300 and im not sure if they are just sold here in the US i dont think they are but idk.. the racher is 4x4 and 2x4 with or without esp

A Rancher is one of honda's best sellers, and the recon is one of the best in its class.

I'd be willing to bet there are close to as many ranchers/fourtrax's out there as there are all sport bikes combined.

 

It sounds like the rancher and recon are the same as the fourtrax 2wd and 4wd models sold in western canada. Like I said, I have heard of these bikes and have never seen one or even heard of any for sale in Western Canada. They must only be sold in the states and Eastern Canada. They don't seem any different though. They are all utility quads from 250-350cc's.

 

I used to have an '86 250 fourtrax. Excellent utility quad.

I don't know about that. Mine was geared really low and I sure wouldn't jump it too high, it came down pretty hard! But far around the house and a little bit of bush riding it was great. If anyone has a picture of a Recon and/or Rancher, let me know, I would like to see one.
