i have a 1987 250x and was wondering what type of tires do use front and back for motocross racing and trail riding? what type of hop ups should i put on for entering a motocross race? what is the best pipe? will 88-89 250r front plastic fit the font of the 250x?

 

The R plastic will fit with some modifications. As far as tires go I'm running 400EX tires they seem to work great. For hop up's I'd put different shocks on it and make it wider. Suspension and handling should come before performance mods.

 

Find an atc 350x engine and wedge it in there! You'll like it!

i have a pro meg e series pipe and head pipe , a 400ex carb with 350 air boot ,web cam ,high compression piston,new valve spring kit. have bandit on front and rear tires are real good. i trail ride AND DRAG RACE
