Default Help me on my 400ex

What is my problem?

It has run well ever since i got it, but i have not ridden it in about a month.Well I went out there yesterday and it was turning over, but it wasnt sparking. Well I took the plug out and it was fouled. So I put a new plug in and I figured that it would start right up.Well it was doing the exact same thing as before, not sparking. The new plug is fresh, and it is firing when I have it out on the cap. But when I put the plug in the head, it dosent hit, it only turns over.I accidentally had the fuel petcock on when it was sitting for a month, so could it be flooded. Also, the head is ported and polished, if that makes any difference. Please help, thanks.

try to drain your gas in your gas lines....you may have justhave bad gas in your lines....check your carb..... and also check your air filter it could be dirty and that can cause it not to start. i have had the same problem.....open up your carb and spray some starting fluid in the carb and try to start and that also coould get it going....try those things and see what happens

Just put fresh gas in, make sure the battery is charged and crank it for a few w/the choke 1/2 way on. It's should fire then turn the choke off when it grabs.
