anyone make a kit to put a cr500 in 250r?

Nobody makes a kit that i know of, it seems to be a fairly easy transplant. If it were my own personal project i would consider a different power plant. CR500 motors are extremely hard to ride and hold on to due to their excessive vibration. The motors lack a counterbalancer which all the trx motors have. I have a close friend that has a 500 in his custom lonestar frame with the motor and stem outfitted in a special vibration resistant polyurethan and he cant ride it for more then a single pass without his legs and hands ringing. Just something to think about. I would recommend something smaller, but with equal power output, something like a pro-x 350, or a stroked 370. If your looking to go faster private message me and ill give you more details.

Mac racing also machines a CR500 cylinder onto a trx bottom end. Still have the vibration, but never as bad as a complete CR motor. Have yet to see or been beaten by one of these types of motors though (knock on wood)
