I agree.... why spend the money to get reverse and a couple of more horses???
reverse, is real easy to forget about... and if you want more ponies... just mod it accordingly
PS... the only other high performance quad I would consider would be a RAPTOR.... reverse, and substantially more HP... that may be worth dishing out money for a new quad.... but not for another 400

i got the 400EX in june. i probly have close to a grand into it, plus i have a skidplate and new axle bearings on layaway at my local dealorship. it wouldnt be worth it for me to sell it for a Z. and the no-reverse thing...i dont really need reverse. if i get hung up, or at a dead end, i will get my butt off the quad and turn it around...

i think i would still go with the honda. i dont know why, but theres just something about a 400EX shining in the sun just after you wash it. i like the fenders better on it too. for me the powers not really an issue, cuz teh only time i can open it up is on the roads, which isnt often.
im gonna stick wiht the honda..

I think if I were going to buy new right now and had a choice between the two I would pick the Z, but the posts about broken frames on the Z's would scare me. I would have to do some more research on that. I do love my ex and I wouldn't sell it now to get a Z. Just not worth the money I would lose in the deal.
