400ex WB Rev Box Question
#1
OK, help me out here...
I understand how it would be easy to up the rev limit by changing the cdi box. The limiting value in the chip or program is just changed from 9000 to 10500 rpm, for example.
I am, however, a little confused as to how the ignition curve is changed. If the plug must spark when the piston is at the end of the compression stroke, how can the cdi function properly if not in timing with this? What am I missing here?
Also, what are your positive experiences with it?
Thanks in advance!
