I wanted to know where i could get a throttle cable for my FCR Flatside carb for my 400ex. It came with a twish throttle and i dont like it so i wondered where i could get a cable to fit the thumb throttle.

Contact Baldwin Motorsports. They are listed in any quad mag. They have made a couple for 2 of my machines and work just fine. I think they were a little over 20 bucks.

 

You can get a Honda cable assembly for a TRX 400 Foreman that will work. The Honda part number you want is 17910-HM7-000. Works well on my FCR setup. About $20 from servicehonda.com.

Did you have to make any alterations to your throttle housing or carb. Right now the carb came with a twist with the 2 cables. I keep tryin to kill myself with the twist so i want my thumb back. Any info would be greatly appreciated

No alterations are needed to use the TRX 400 Foreman cable. Works great. And the cable is Honda quality.
