Default Recon brake upgrade

Anyone know of a front disc brake swap kit for a Recon? Or if there is another quad that I can adapt the discs from that isn't too big of a hassle? I can fabricate well and new wheels for a different bolt pattern is no problem to me. The Recon is great but the brakes are the only weak spot on it. Anyone been there and done that?

highlifter.com is supposed to have a disk brake upgrade kit out for Hondas now, I haven't checked it out myself yet, but they should make a kit for your machine.

If you got the $$$ the best way to go would be to get the setup off a 250EX. It's basically the same bike but you'd have to get the calipers, rotors, hubs, wheels, etc. Not very cheap to be sure.

WOW!! I just got done replying to this post on highlifter... I agree with moto93 that the 250ex would be the closest thing. Highlifter doesn't make on for the recon because it only has 11 inch front rims. I dont think it would cost that much more than the kit though considering it sells for over $300.
