Ok first of all , what are the yamahies doing trying to start stuff over in this forum. I mean they don't have to buy a Honda , and we don't have to buy a Yamaha , it is that simple. People have there own preferences. And that fouflix or however you spell his name , he does know a da** thing about Hondas , he thinks he does. But he doesn't. A little conflict discussion is fun from time to time , but they just want to start something because they know something that they don't want to admitt. I do not have a problem with Yamahas , well i little but it does not bother me to the point where I have to get a argument over it. Well I just had to say that much.

300XFST4602,

fourlix might know a little bit more than what your giving him credit for.

I would click on his highlighted area below his silly fourlix about the baby raptorette. The one Yamaha should have made.

I can't recall the issue of atv action he was in, but it was sometime last summer. Great article.

So fourlix does know what he is thinking about and sometimes its just plain silly.

Alright, nobody get mad at me. But I can't believe everybody gets into these brand wars. You can ride what you want to ride. And I like Yamaha and Honda both better than anything else. But I just can't see classifying everybody who rides somethings different a Yamahahie or whatever and talking about them like they're the Taliban or something. We're all on the same team. And please nobody kill me for trying to stop something before it really starts!

Hey, come on guys. Fourlix has been here forever and a day. He has given advice to many people, myself included. He DOES have good knowlege about things, and has been quite helpful in the past.
I really don't think he means any offense by what he says, he maybe states things bluntly sometimes, but I can't recall him starting any flaming wars. Once the flames start, however, he can get his digs in with the best of them (Sorry, Alex, couldn't resist)

Did you know he was on 'Junkyard Wars'??? I wouldn't think he got there without at least some amount of mechanical skills/knowlege. If I recall right, his team made a very fast boat, which the 'expert' driver proceeded to capsize.

Normally, I try to avoid these types of arguments, but he has given me (good) advice in the past, so I feel obligated to at least defend his character. Like I said, some of the things he said may be a bit blunt, but I doubt he means anything personal.

No offense to honda i mean thur more durable than anything ive ever seen but they are kinda slow....... i mean when they gonna come out with a faster quad, if they come out with somthing like a raptor ide buy it for sure. Most of us yami guys are ok and dont want to start a fight and that guys right, all on the same team we should be arguing about riding area closures with the goverment instead of fighting about brands.

Later

Ok, 300exfstwhatever, Fourlix DID NOT BASH anybody. He stated that the ES has tranny problems then went on to say that he can't understand why Honda uses the trannies they do. There was no bashing there. There were Honda owners that backed up what he said including Knowsalot. The problem arises when people start flipping out when somebody says that Hondfa has a weak point. It's like blasphemy to some people.

Face it - Honda, Yamaha and all the others have their problems. None are perfect. The difference is that some people get offended when somebody says their brand has a flaw.

See, the problem isn't when somebody points out a flaw it's when people act like they are being "bashed" and make a big fuss about it. Some people need to grow up.

BTW, Fourlix has been on here for years and years and has helped a lot of people.

About brand loyalty. I personally believe from all of the forums I've been on, that Honda riders are second only to the Harley riders in brand loyalty. I ride a Z400, but not because it's a Suzuki, but because it had everything I wanted in a quad. If someone is tryin to get a rise out of you and you let them, and get upset, well, they've won. I dunno, guess that's just my take.
