While my Daughter was rideing the wifes 93Honda 200 four trax today i noticed a funny noise comeing from the rear of the quad.It has been makeing this noise for a while. The noise in question sounds like metal rubbing. When she would go over a bump the axle looked looked like it was moving in the housing on the left side. When i touched the right side of the axle it was hotter than fire, burnt my hand. Can someone PLEASE tell me what this could be? If it is the bearings,is this something that i could do my self or would it be best to take it to a mechanic.Thank all for your time......BOB

i whould say your bearings are shot!!
and if your somewhat handy and have some tools you should be able to do the job yourself
