how much horse power does a stock 250x have. thanks

 

someone will probably prove me wrong. But i think at the wheels, 15hp maybe 16hp.

It might be more, i know it feels like more! The 250x has some pretty good lowend power!

 

The 300EX puts out aroung 16-17HP so I wouldn't think that the 250X puts out that much. Maybe 15HP

I dyno'ed my 250X (in stock form) at a local gas station (that has a dyno) and it had 19HP at the rear tires... Now that it has a DG RCM exhaust its pumping 24.7HP... It also has K&N filter with outerwear, Airbox vents, and split fire plug

Dynos are good for relative measurements such as finding for power gains before and after mods. They aren't good for absolute measurements.

in the june 2000 adition of the atvsport magazine, they turned a 250X INTO A 350X THEN A 450X AND IN THAT THEY SAID... "Even after we had White Brothers up our stocker's power from its meager 12 hp to 18hp" so my whole point there was that a stock 250x has 12 hp!!!!

I don't see any dyno charts do you??? However if you look at my link you will see one. I would believe a dyno chart over what some magazine editor tells me any day.
