Just got a 91 250x for christmas. It is so stock that it is scary. I know all about the get a header and jet kit and a k&n filter. I was wondering what pipe is the better pipe. I have been told that the White Brothers E-series kicks ***, as well as the FMF Megamax2. I am not picky just want to make sure I get the best bang for my hard earned dollar. Thanks.

I have a Mojave and for christmas i got a White Brothers E-series exhaust K&N air filter and jet kit. The WB E-series exhaust in not really loud (you have to own one to know) it boost the power a little but not much. I say go for the White Brothers. Good Luck

chadsd-I just got my 87 250X yesterday, i have not stopped riding that thing for the past two days except to eat and sleep, of course now it is raining so i dont want to go out. but to tell you the truth, one thing you could do to your exhaust is just take the spark arrester out, when i bought mine i think that it was taken out or blown out, but man does that thing sound sweet, nice metallic sound, i am not saying dont get a pipe just saying you should check out the stock muffler, anyways my X thumps i will tell you that, with that high *** compression ratio she is a goer, my friend has a 99 300EX and he has it geared up with one more tooth in the front well we checked out our top ends and he can beat me, but if i had mine geared up they would be the same speeds!!!! it is sweet, I was climbing some sweet rock hills today with that 300EX, a 2000 honda 300 4x4, and a 99 polaris magnum, umm needless to say the X and EX were by far the best hill climbers!! then the mag and 300 were tied, the polaris driver got on the 300 and tried going up the hills but he must not have known how to drive a 5 speed, cuz he would sit and spin half way up the hill, then the 300Ex driver got on it and got that thing up the hill in no time, it was hilarious!!! oh ****, that was good, the polaris driver wanted to drive my X but i told him that he couldnt get used to the power!!! The whole day was awesome!! at the end of the day the 4x4's were climbing some hills in this pasture and **** were they steep ***, whoa!! the could never get up them always had to pull them up, they couldnt roll down cuz there was a drop off into a creek bed so we hooked up the chains, after awhile we all piled on the racks of the 300 and that finally made it up, then we all got on the magnum and that had more trouble than the 300!!! it was sweet... oh jeez, sorry about the long letter, it was mostly way off subject, haha, good luck with your 250X!! bye!!

I noticed that on my 2000 300EX the Spark Arrestor has to little spot weld like things on it. I was just wondering how to remove them and pull it out.
