Hey guys....Any body have any ideas on how to soften up the suspension on a TRX300 2x4?I've had this machine about six months with no complaints. Its a great machine. However, it beats the crap out if me. About two hrs of riding is all I can stand at any one time. My son rides a Beartracker. What a difference. Comfortable ride, easy steering. Another great little machine. Any ideas? Thanks

G,
Climb off the 4-wheeler and go for a spin on an old Honda 100 3-wheeler.. Talk about rough.. NO SHOCKS, NO SUSPENSION.. I don't see how anybody EVER rode one of those things past the mailbox..
( I just rebuilt one of these, so the memory of how it rides is still fresh on my back..)
As for your machine, i've heard of some people having the seat redone with extra padding, adding foam cushion grips, filling the handlebars with bathroom silicone. Have you tried dialing down the preload on the shocks? What about air pressure in the tires? If those cheap fixes still don't work, you can always change to an aftermarket shock..
