200X Compression ratio to fuel
#1
I am building my 200x and I am going to put a Powroll high compression piston in it. I don't know if I should go up to 12:1 or just to 10.5:1.... If i go up to 12:1 can I still run on pump gas? Stock ratio is 9.6:1 any help is greatly appriciated

You would definitely have to run race gas at that compression with a 200X. Also, the reliability of your trike would go way down. I would stick with the 10.5:1 piston and also throw in a mid-range web cam. Besides those mods (combined with pipe and filter) you probably don't really want to do any extensive engine mods on the little ATC, because when you try to extract alot of power from that engine, bad things happen... Well I am going with a powroll mid range cam, going to get my crank welded, and bigger vavle ports with powroll valves, I have never been to the web cam web site, are there cams hardwell or billet? Thanks for the input.
