Dirtwheels- Cannondale FX 400-50hp?
#1
Has any one read the recent article in Dirtwheels about the feature on the Cannon FX 400? It is supposed to be 50hp out of the crate. If this is true the other 4 stroke quads don't stand a chance of running with it, and even the modified 2 strokes are going to have there hands full on this one. (Not counting the heavily mod 2 strokes) What is the price on this quad? How many dealers in the USA.? There is no STOCK machine that will be able to run with this animal. What are your thoughts?

As you might remember, The same, Shall we say exasperated specs we saw with the ds650 introduction.
I've heard from 40hp to 50hp. It will probably end up around 46-48 hp when all said and done.
They must atone to the EPA and all the bla bla bla requirements.

Am I the only one who has noticed how full of @#&% dirtwheels is. They don't do accurate measuring of anything. If you compare articles, they always change what they say. I love honda, but to be fair to everybody else, Dirtwheels is pro honda all the way. How much does Honda give these guys. They will never let any other machine win a shootout. Even if the competitor is noticably the best. Their speeds are always off and so is their HP ratings. They suck. ATV Sport Magazine is much better. I'm sure the cannondale will have 40-50 hp. But don't take dirtwheels word for it.

I also know about dirt Wheels measurements being off quite a bit, but maybe the reason Honda's don't loose in any of the shoot-out's is because THEY ARE THE BEST!!! Like with a comparision between the Banshee and 400EX. Sure the Banshee is much faster, but not everyone gets a thrill of going warp speed in a straight line... Most of the articles state that they are looking for the most all-around High Performance or Sport quad, not the fastest, and anyways at the end of the articles they always give credit to the other machine.
