trx300fw, just curious, how old are you? I have a theory that you can get more speed when you are much younger then the average ATVer. I am soon going to get a grant to study this full time.

I think U are shooting the BS I was ridng my dads qaudzilla about 2 months ago and my neighbor flew past me on his radio flyer wagon. he said it had a blown nitros sniffin race gas burning weed wacker motor that would run the qauter in 2 seconds flat it had a wheelie bar and monster truck tires with a custom suspension with 12 foot of travel. he had to get rid of it though due to there was no place to open her up. LOLOLOLOLOL.

I know what your talking about. I had rebiult the carb on my '84 125, I was talking it out for a test run when I heard this whistling sound. The bike stood streight up, back wheels spinning, and it launched me across this field. When I was able to read the speedo, I was doing 86 MPH. It finally ran out of gas. Boy was I lucky! I called the dealer and he said that I must have got the carburator bearings in upside down. This caused the vortex flex plate to oscilate, which inturn, created the jetting effect known as sniffintoomuchgasness. You should pipe your exhaust behind you.

Many years ago, I had a yamaha DT100 that did the same thing to me a couple times. The needle would wind clear to the peg, even though I knew I was only going about 45mph.
