Default 250ex pipe please help

ok i have a 250ex that i purchased in late september, i ride everyday after school and every minute in the summer. I need a little more power though, when im going down the tracks i need to be faster. I know that i want to pipe it and jet it. I'm wondering what type of pipes are available for mine? any suggestions i know that K and N are coming out with a jet kit for the 2003 model but is this the best jet kit i can get? any help is apreciated thanks

I have a White Brothers E Series and iam loving it. The Pro Circuit T4 is also a very good pipe for this machine id get one of these two.

We also have the White Brothers E series on ours, has a really nice sound and improved preformance. The K&N jet kit is worthless on this quad. They used to come with a needle that was way too short so the only thing that you ended up using was 1 jet. For 3-4 bucks go to your Honda dealer and just buy a jet. Do a search and you'll come up with some more posts about what is out there for the 250.

FMF MegaMaxII with 6 discs and K&N. Good power increase, and not outrageously loud. Oh yeah, six 1" (White Bros) vents in the airbox lid. (Skip the vents if you ride in the water a lot!)

i'm not sure of which pipe but i'm thinking there won't be 2 much of a hp increase when a 400ex gets like 3hp with a pipe i don't see a 250ex getting much more but i guess anythings possible it might change the powercurve a bit tho

i first had a big gun on my bike and i wasnt happy with it...it doesnt come with a heat shield and you are constatly burning your pants so then i went out and bought a full yoshimora pipe and i love it....if you compare it to most aftermarket exaust it is bigger and doesnt restict the air so much...i also run no air box cover and the power difference is so much better.....also i agree with fendercover about the k&n jet kit....it is worthless...your better off just going to your dealer and asking for a jet.....
