Default Steering stem retube

Just a message for those of you that have bent your steering stem or are planning to in the near future. I just got mine retubed in 4130 chromemoly ("1.25x.120) from Wizard fabrications in Riverside California. He does a great job for $125.00. The man makes sand cars for a living and is a very capable fabricator. He does a lot of trick aluminum side panels, consoles, wing trunks, fuel tanks etc... He's a got a car on the cover of the new sand sports coming out this month.

I posted this in the Yamaha forum, I posted it here because I know he has done 400 EX stems also. Although the 400 EX stem is "1 1/8 o.d. tube. No problem, he has the jig for it.

The Raptor is around $100.00, I figured if I was going to pay that much money for a stem it should be stronger than mild steel. This stem will not bend again.
