what pipe should i get for my new 250ex.

You really don't have a whole lot of choices for it. I believe DG makes one for it and maybe White Brothers, but that's about it. Frankly, I doubt that it'll make much of a difference on that little machine. But you can try. Don't forget to re-jet it after you put the pipe (or slip on muffler) on it.

 

the white brothers opens it up quite a bit on the bottom end but i think big gun makes a system too

 

There is quite a fiew choices for the little ex. HMF,Graydon-Proline, and Big Gun all make full systems for it. They all claim about a 25% gain in power. A friend of mine did the Big Gun full system on his wifes it made a huge diffrence. It really wakes that machine up.

 

who doesn't make a pipe for the 250ex? go for looks and fit.

 

I got a 2003 250ex with a Procircuit T-4 full system, to me it seems to make a big difference in making more power although you may want to get the quiet core insert w/spark arrester to make it a little quieter,another thing you may want to get to make it even more quieter is the smallest end cap. when I rode it on the trails it was just barely louder then my dads Z-400.
Whatever you do don't go with cobra exhaust!

There are alot of pipes actually....The best is obviously Yoshimura....they are always rated the best...I got a Big Gun Race series system and its a really nice sounding pipe and you can also really feel the power it gave...The Yoshi. is just a little to much money for me and STAY AWAY FROM SUPERTRAPP!!! what ever you do, do not get SUPERTRAPP! I hoped that Helped!!

go with the pro circuit t4 full system. i got mine for $330. it makes a big diff in power in every gear,exspecially low and mid range. it has a deep sound to it, i love mine. i wouldnt buy the quite core for it i heard they dont help much ne ways. u may also want to buy a kn air filter.$40. RIDE RED!!!!!
