Look in the back of ATV Action, or Dirtwheels. There is a company that advertises in there.

I think this question was on here a while back...the price of the kit was outrageous. Try doing a search on it..maybe you'll find something.

We are in the process right now of building a 83 250R into a 4 wheeler. We took the 250R and cut the front off a spare Yamaha Warrior frame I had and welded the 2 together. This is no hack job, we are taking the time to do this right and make it look as good as possible. It is 1/4 of an inch longer than the stock Warrior frame and balanced out just about perfect. We ordered all new plastic which is 250R rear and Warrior front plastics all from Maier and all in red. If you are interested in seeing some pics email me at jnjcyclerepair@hotmail.com and I will get you some pics in a few days. The frame is being sandblasted right now so I cant get pics till I get it back.

I have the pics of the sandblasted frame if you are interested in seeing them. Started life as a 1983 250R 3 wheeler but is soon on its way to being a quad!

The kit you are asking about is $1500.00,a word of warning. You will have to make the rear end wider to match the frt end, about 4 inches. There add is in dirt wheels. Also they will tell you that any color of plastic is available, but you will get what they have.Good luck

How did this project turn out? A guy I know said I could have a atc 250r that he has and was thinking of doing something like this.

It looks and runs absolutly great! We took it to the 12 Hours of ATV America race to show it off October25th a bit while we raced my Prairie. It was a real crowd stopper! Just about everyone who walked by had to stop and take a look at it and we got nothing but compliments! Some of the guys left and got their buddies and brought um back to have a look at it! We were trying to get ready for the race and ended up having to move it back out of the way because we didn't have time to keep answering all the questions! My email address is above in another reply, if you would like to see it send me an email!
