i like it alot. It wheelies really really easy which could be a good thing or a bad thing but i have never flipped it. To get it to do donuts good i had to tighten the suspension a couple notches. You will be very happy when you get it. Also consider the mojave though. Its cheaper with pretty much the same power and speed(maybe a little faster) with liquid cooling, easier reverse, more suspension travel, but does not wheelie as good and is a little bit more bumpey to ride.

The bike is sold!! Stock power is mild, but the engine mods up pretty well. An FMF header, PowerCore 4, and K&N will perk it up a lot when you are ready. The suspension is pretty good. I would replace the baloony tires when you can, because they make the bike a little tippy. My preference is Holeshots. The bike can wheelie and jump pretty well.

JustO,
Our family owned one for 2 years. The first year we had it, it was ridden
so much that it seemed like I was changing the oil and cleaning the
air filter in my sleep. Also, you could fill it up in the morning and it
would go almost all day on a tank of fuel for my son.
Where the 300EX really shined for me was trail riding in the deep woods.
Its size and power delivery was excellent for that situation. Second
to third gear trail riding=excellent.
It would run out of power on the top end on the country roads though.
That would be my only problem.
So if your wanting more power from the start upgrade to the 400ex if you
can spring for the extra money.
The only thing that broke in the 2 years that we owned the 300ex was a
front shock was binding right at first and was replaced under warranty.
Chet
Ps the front brakes squeaked and I never could get them to stop that!!!!!!!!

Just don't rule out all the other quads bub there are too many to consider! What kinda rider are you? I love my Warrior but i had to put some money into getting set up the way i wanted it! My buddy on the other hand just bought a 400EX and had to do very little to it! HE SMOKES MY DOORS Now i'm in the predicament of bore and stroking or buying a new quadand starting over! The only reason i went with the Warrior is because it had reverse! Otherwise it would have been a 400EX Now i'm wishing I would'nt have even considered reverse!
