Which could be a faster machine a 300ex for $3000 or a 250x for $2000 with $1000 worth of mods??

 

If you dont mind kick starting your bike go with the 250x the 300ex had some battery problems. just what you want stuck out in the woods with a dead battery

 

Which would be faster? A stock 300 or a 250 with a grand of mods? DUH!! They run the same speed anyway, so of course a 250X would be. I dont mean to be an ***, so dont be mad. I think that with a thousand dollars of mods about any quad could outrun a 300EX. I have a 300EX and a friend has a 250X and they run the same top speed with teh exact same mods. Tehy are the same bike but the 300 has about 20 cc's more and electric start, only real difference.
Go with the 250X and you wont be sorry. I am currently thinkin about a 250X motor for mine cause my battery is always dead.
