Default 300EX A-Arms

I am wondering if a-arms will from a 400ex or 250r will fit on my 300ex, I can buy stock 400ex a-arms for $50 and I would gain a couple inches, if I buy aftermarket for the 300ex they cost like $400 and you gain the same width

The a arms will bolt right up, you will need different shocks, you can use 400ex shocks, but the top mount will need to be raised,or the front end will sit higher from the longer shocks. I got some a arms too, and shocks, just waiting to measure up to see what it will take to keep it sitting level. Maybe there is a kit out there that will help adapting the top mounts, or maybe it's cut and weld time for the top mounts. I talked to a guy on the forum here by the name of ModdedX, his buddy made some brackets for the top mounts that bolted in,but I haven't been able to get a hold of him lately.

I'm doing it, sounds easy enough I'll let you guys know how it's going once I buy these 400ex a-arms from my cousin. I now have my motor tore apart putting a 11:1, 0.60 over Wiseco and I'm polishing my cases it's looking great. Let me know if you want pics. Hey does anybody know where to get a 37 or 36 tooth rear sprocket I put 20's on and I lost a lot of speed I plan on putting a 14 in the front and 37 or 36 rear, I want it tall
