Rancher night ride
#1
I did a little night ride last night on the Rancher and discovered 2 things.
1. The head lights are not aligned properly, especially the high beams.
Does anyone know how to align or aim the headlights? Is this a "dealer" fix only?
2. The gear selection buttons, NEED some back lighting so that you can see the upshift and downshift buttons, when the lights are on.
The folks at Honda SHOULD make some sort of switch that can be fitted in the place of the installed switch and GIVE it to Rancher owners...
or at least price it so low as to make it affordable. I'll take one now, please. I'm surprized they missed this one!
Comments and sugestions please.

the lights on my rancher light up the trails great at night . . . a huge improvement over the old 300's. As for the gear buttons, I totally agree with you, but I have found over time that I very rarely look at them now, even during the day when I can see fine - kind of like typing on the keyboard?

I think the rancher headlights work really well. Mine are adjusted just right. Do you rancher owners not just love your ranchers? i think they are one of the best atv's on the market right now! I have heard complaints about the es not having lights on the shift buttons. Do you guys like your es models? i chose the old shift just to be on the safe side.
