400EX, 250R shocks
#1
I just insalled 400EX a-arms on my 300EX and it worked excellent they looked like they belonged there, my only problem is my 300EX Works shocks are too short I paid $380 for them and now I can't use them, well I might be able to my ride heigth is like 10" at the lowest point in the front frame. It still looks funny, does anyone have some Stock 400EX or 250R shocks they will sell for cheap because that should fix my problem

Careful, those 400ex or 250r shocks are too tall. They wil make it super tall and stiff, not to mention its not alot of fun to put them on. There is someone who makes a kit to mount new shock supports on the frame. the kit is a piece of channel that you weld to the two front vertical members, making a second shock mount up higher and wider. It comes with the jig and all nec. parts. I am sorry I dont have the name of the company. We put the same set up on my buddies wife's 330ex and we ended up running the stockers until the new works got in. If you call works they can build a set that fits your application. Good luck
