Honda FatCat TR200

both the 200SX and the fat cat use shim bucket valve engines-(the only time honda ever used this engine), and the cam chain is on the right side, the 200M uses the same plant as every other honda 200, with rocker arms and cam chain on the left side.

hhmmmmmmnn..... I guess ya learn something new everyday. I know quite a bit about my ATVs, more than the average ATVer, but the 200SX is one of the few machines I dont know much about, or the fatCat for that matter. I used to think it had more in common with the ATC, anyways, I hope I can find some more pictures of it somewhere.

Yeah, I dunno why honda never used this engine again,, it makes good power and i never have had a problem with one..doesnt look like it share's anyting with the other 200's..kinda a class of its own. Take a look at one, they are sure a boxy lookin cylinder.
