The honda GN4 will do great, or any motercycle oil I would use 20W50 in warm weather and 10W40 in cold

I just had my recon in for servicing, and the mechanic told me to use castrol 20w-50w in the summer and 10w-40w in the cold months. He said he puts Castrol in all the machines he works on, and he does'nt see any more wear than with the high price specialty oils. I think the main thing is to keep your air filters clean and change the oil religiously!

1. remove it and soak in solvent
2. get most of the oil and dirt out by soaking in solvent, then squeeze as much solvent off as you can
3. now use dish soap and water to remove the fine dirt, when all clean rinse with water and let dry
4. soak filter in heavy gear oil or filter oil, squeeze excess out and re instal the filter useing greese on the sealing side to keep dust out

Just generic, normal solvent. I think gasoline will work too.

I would suggest Honda GN4 motor oil. It's designed for all Honda ATV's. The oil not only supplies the engine, but the transmission as well. The GN4 is less foaming than automobile motor oils. You can get the stuff at your local Honda dealership.

I run Mobil 1 10w-40 synthetic motorcycle oil in my bike. It is good for cold starts, and keeps the motor cooler also. It DOES NOT harm wet clutches, or make them slip.

Dont use gas to clean the airfilter, it will slowly eat away the glue holding it together, I use paint thinner as solvent
