yea its probablyruningway to lean now your going to have to fattin it up!
first take off the carb and go up one size on your main then go down one clip on your needle then one size up on your pilot jet and see how she runs......
call one of your local repair shops because i am not sure on the needle i get that one mixed up some times down for richer or up for richerrrrrr[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

You don't need to take the carb off to change the main jet, which is about all you should do at this point. I believe the stock main jet on a 300EX is a .122, so try going to a .127 or a .130. If it blubbers at high revs, go back down one size until it quits.

you dont have to take off the carb to change the main jet?? then how do you get to it, i ahve to re-jet for my 300ex and i have a cobra exhaust, and i need to know how many sizes to go up. and is that all i have to change is my main?
