Hey guys do any of you know what the :

Stock XR400R Cam Int and Exh lifts?????
HRC (OEM upgrade)XR400R Cam Int and Exh Lifts????
Hot Cams Stage 1 400EX Cam Int and Exh lifts?????

I am actually contemplating which cam to get the HRC OEM XR400 Cam or Hot Cams Stage 1 400EX cam.
This is a fresh 400EX engine with FMF PowerBomb Header and MegamaxII Exhaust, jetting and filtered of course.

Which one of these two cams will bring the biggest increase in overall power(or which of the two did you feel improved powerband the most?)?.

Also, going to add a stock bore 11:1 comp. Piston. Which Cam will gain the most in the mid and top end range with out loosing too awful much bottom??????????

I would pick the HRC from what you listed, the XR is only slightly larger than the stock EX. The Hot cams will be good improvements for the money but don't know how durable they are. Search ex riders for the specs, they are all listed there.

 

Hotcams is a reliable cam, my bros had his for about 6 months now with no prob, dont go with stage I though go with stage II, its a big torque increase from 3rd-4th and u hardly lose any bottom end
