Is Twin Air filters better than K&N? nuther question. Is PC Racing filter skinz better than outerwares? yet anuta. Can I get a hi performance kit cheaper if I order it from highlifter or if I order it all separatley? Thanks

Go with a K&N with an outerwares around it!!
I beleive those to be the best products.

 

I used to use K&N w/ outwears, after rebuild in my engine due to dirt in the top end I switched. I now run UNI's. I have out lived the length of time between rebuilds because of switching. K&N's have good flow but lack dust protection.

 

I use Uni filter w/pcfilterskins on wifes 300ex and K&N w/outerwear on my 400ex.I definitely have to reoil the k&n sooner on dusty rides as well as clean more often.Bit of a hassle but definitely flows better than the uni up top.So for trail riding go with foam for sand the K&N setup.

 

K&N and just get the whole kit from highlifter
