is the newer 300ex better than the older 250x? why? how much does the 300ex's power campare to the 250x? is the 250x a good quad and if so why or why not?

OK Ill write somewhat of a helpfull post.

250X = 249? cc's.

300EX = 282 cc's.

They are both basically the same quad except the 300EX's electric start.

The 300EX has a little more power but is a bit heavier due to the electric start and the battery, ect.
In a race they are very close.

They are both solid as a rock. They are a great trail quad, but their suspention travel is limited.
They handle very good.
The 1987 250X had second/third gear tranny problems that might need to be addressed if you pick one up that hasnt
been fixed already.
