A couple of days ago people said that the new Rubicon would be problem free or as darned close to it as humanly possible.

I certainly hope that the people on the assembly lines are more competent than the people in the public relations department at American Honda.

Would you release pictures of a $7000 quad with the tires mounted on it backwards? I can't believe it.

I certainly hope that this is a harbinger of things to come.

Where is Tom Elliot when you really need him?

Nope, you were correct. The back tires and the front tires on the red (Press Release Photo) Rubicon are mounted backwards. The green Rubicon in the action photo has the tires mounted correctly.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a "Honda Basher", I just can't believe they would release photos like this.

I own a Honda Gold Wing, love Honda Generators, and also have a Foreman 450ES in the garage.

In looking at the photos closely I also noticed that the shock absorbers do not have "preload" adjustments. I sure hope that the Rubicon offers a more complient ride than the Foreman 450.

I know that Honda always makes their decisions based upon rock solid reliability verses all other factors but... I am hoping for a great riding 4x4. (and at least as fast as an AC 500 or a Sportsman 500)

They look like the tires that were standard equipment on the 1996 Kodiak. A Dunlop tire I believe, but not the ones that come standard on a Polaris Magnum/Explorer.

Ok guys, mabye the tires are on backwords but just because of that does that mean you'r not intrested anymore? Now what I figure is that honda
will put them on the wright way time the rubicon comes out.
P.S. ive also heard from the net that honda will have better shocks but I don't no.

Not a huge deal about the tires, I don't think this should sway your opinion of the machine. Your comment about the shocks seems correct, I would actually be suprised if the rubicon rides much different then the 450. Don't know why, but honda isn't interested in making a more plush suspension.

It's worse than you all thought. The tires are on correctly, it's the body they assembled backwards.
