400EX or Banshee?

Whats your guys opinion on these 2 quads ? im in the market for a sport quad because my util ( 1986 honda 350 4trx 4x4) is just a tad on the slow side and well doesnt jump very well. im kinda leaning towrds the honda for 2 reasons one its a 4 stroke gas is easier to come by and plus its a tad cheaper than the shee. but i like the shee for the looks and the powerband and they sound really cool. if i do get one fo these quads im not going to mod them for a while atleast till im done paying for the quad just because i want to get used to it ( iv only rode a sport quad 1nce) what do you guys think ?.
p.s. id mainly use it for trail use and just kinda messin round where i ride no sand or anything mostly hard pack and jumps.

As you can tell by my handle, I have a 400ex, I would not trade that quad for ahy other. I have rode a fully modified Banshee, and believe me, I wouldn't want to be on that thing in the woods. I have a friend right now who is thinking of selling his banshee because he wants to start riding tighter trails. I told him to get a 400, and I will tell you the same thing. I have no complaints except for the swingarm skid that may keep me at home this weekend because it warped my rotor. I ordered another through a friend and they sent the wrong one. Go figure. My .o2

I just started riding ATV's. ( Rode Street for 10 years) anyway I investigated this stuff for months riding buddy's machines and tester's and asking a bunch of questions.
Basically if you want full out speed at all time and want to scream around the track go for the banshee it kicks, and your right it sounds as wild as it rides. you can not take her easy on the shee though, you;ll have nothing but problems. Giver till ya see god then get on the brakes.
However if you just want to bomb around the trails, and giddy up once in a while go for the 400ex. She'll just putt around if ya want to chill, and she'll go like snot when ya wanna get all pumped up. Tough choice I know. I want both !!!

Where dou you plan on riding. A Banshee goes fast and straight. Great for the dunes. A 400ex is better just about everywhere else.
