top end

Default top end

im putting a new top end in my 250r i was just curious if there are any other mods i should do while i have it apart...

Of course, any R will "wake up" with a good pipe/silencer air-filter mods (don't forget to rejet).
While you have it apart, depending on the type of riding you do, you can have the cylinder ported to your specific needs.

Default top end

Go through your bottom end for sure. Replace any bearings if need be. Make sure you have a extremely well built and durable bottom end before you start pumping out big ponies. Check clutch basket, plates, counterbalancer and anything else. What are you planning on doing to it?

Default top end

well i already have pipe silencer and 38mm carb...but it needs a new top end so i was just curious as what else i should do to it while it was apart....i mostly ride trails and for fun...but do race alittle....soon i hope to get into more though...
