Decals and very durable ones at that.. Believe it or not I found them at an auto supply house... There was a whole pack of them in different sizes and I just used part of them that I thought would fit on there nice.. If you saw the back view pics of this quad on my website you would notice that I also have the same graphics on the sides of my swingarm....

if you are going to put a 380 kit on a 250 save your money and get a 400ex or do a trade in i wouldn't put that kind of money in a 250x to begin with and to answer your second question no i will not keep up with the new z they are bad *** i took my 440ex in and bought a kfx 400(same quad)and put the yoshi 450 kit on and my neighbor's LT500 can not keep up in a 100 yard drag i have him by 10 yards.so man save some money and trade and get a Z or KFX400 and get something worth the money and time in putting money into 850 bucks and i have a quad that no one beats

I don't think that there is a Z/KFX around here that could touch my Zilla or my 250R for that fact.... If nothing else, I know my 250R would outhandle it in the woods... Unless there has been a bunch of $$ put into the suspension on it... in stock form the Z/KFX kinda suck in the handling dept... I tried one out when they first were released and I wasn't THAT impressed with it.... Sure it had slightly more power than the 400EX but it wasn't enough to make me overlook the way it steered and handled... Personally I wouldn't buy either one of them - the Z or the 400EX unless I was getting it on even up trade for something or getting it for awfully cheap. I wouldn't go running out to the dealer to buy either one of them new....

Well take that back... right now that Z could beat my Zilla - it isn't running right now. I blew the base gasket out of it Sunday while hillclimbing...

I thought the Z400 had really sloppy steering and the suspension seems really loose. For someone who is used to being able to power into the corners then the Z400 might take some getting used to.

Your Rancher, which if it is anything like mine was, the suspension is really stiff, so just imagine the opposite of what you have now. They have a lot of lean in the turns and they make you feel like if you tried to take a turn too fast on them that they would roll over. I think the 400EX handles a lot better - the steering is more responsive and the handling is good in its stock form. It just doesn't have scary amounts of power but neither does the Z400. the 400EX is a good machine nonetheless. My suggestion to you would be to try both of them and see what you think.

I didn't know if you might know some ppl who have those quads. If so you might could try theirs. I personally like the 400EX better than the Z400 but the 400EX doesn't have reverse. I don't know if you really would miss having reverse but that is something else to consider. I would rather have a Raptor than either one of these though, but that might be a little much for somebody who isn't used to the power.. The most impressive quad that is out right now is the Gas Gas, but I wouldn't recommend that for a first sport quad... You never know you might like a 300EX. they aren't really powerful, but they handle really nice, have reverse, and are fairly inexpensive to buy... Did I mention that they are also a lot of fun to ride and are one of the most reliable quads you can buy.
