Alright guys here's a good one.Listen to this i have a95300ex with a brand new e-series pipe just the back piece no head pipe yet.And my buddy has a 1992 250x with a FMFmegamax and head pipe.We have both got k-n filters and 130 main jets an d he stomps me by 5 bike links .And both bikes are not ragged they were bought like new condition.I have fasttrekker rears 22x11x10 and he has the stockers.Whats up with that?I need some suggestions.Can anybody help?The e-series was suppose to be all that.Oh equal riders to.HELP

switch bikes and see if he still beats U it might be a weight thing. my cousin has a 99 400ex and his freind has a y2k400ex and his freind beats my cousin in a drag they switched bikes and the guy still beat him my cousin is heavier than the other guy.

 

why don't you ride side by side until you get up to speed then you can see if you or him pulls away.

dude u only have the silencer thats not gonna do much fer ya. get the pipe too then u might see the diference

 

I agree with the last post. The silencer wont do much at all. The reason I got my FMF was because I could get the pipe and silencer for the price of just the silencer for the WB. I was told when I ordered that the FMF would make more HP because of this. Get teh pipe then race.

 

Sounds like a weight difference to me. Think about it, a 300EX weighs more than a 250X (starter motor and battery). The 300EX is only 282cc, the 250 is 246cc. The 300ex is also lower compression than the 250. How much do you weigh, how much does he weigh?

 

haha... that **** is funny. You got took by a 250x. i can take a 250x with a megamax with a head. and a head pipe doesn't even do much on a 4 stroke. it could be wieght but probably not that big of a differnce. It could be the air pressure in the tires if he had more then you then he'll win in a drag.

 

I head pipe will make a difference on a four stroke!! if its bigger than stock.

 

pump up your tires, get a header, change your sprocket size by a tooth, loose some weight. You should dust or @ leat run w/ him then.

or do the obvious, get a 350x engine
