250r conversion kit

Default 250r conversion kit

i want to buy a 250r three wheeler and do a four wheel conversion. Any imput, good bad idea? Also, i have seen the conversion kits before, buuuuuuut, i cant seem to find them now. Just any information at all would be cool, I know nothing about the conversion kits and if it is even worth it

Default 250r conversion kit

There were two companies that produced a 3 to 4 wheel conversion kits. One went out of business a long time ago. The other company "High Performance ATV" quit making their kits. The kits actually didn't look too bad, but I have heard that the handling wasn't very good at all and the kits were expensive. I think around $1300.00.

If a 250r is on your mind then start shopping around for a used trx. I see them on the classifieds for around $2500, which is probably less than you would have invested in a converted ATC.

damn ive never seen them for 2500, at leaste not in california, but thanks for the info on the kits.

Yeah I guess location does play a part in what 250r's are selling for. I live on the east coast. In fact I have a buddy who is considering selling his almost stock 87 TRX for around $2000.00.
