I don't really like the looks of the light on my 300ex. It makes it look like it is a kinda babyish. Have any of you guys done it and have pics? If i take it off I will want to put a different good looking light ficture there and I was hoping that some of youg uys had a good idea. Thanks in advance.

 

Im sure you can take it off. Maybe look into some Trail Tech lights. I have some on my raptor and they are very decent. Way more ligth than stock, and they are bullet proof.

while on the subject of 300EX lights, has anyone else noticed that the beam, no matter high or low, barely clears the front fenders, and points about straight at the ground in front of the quad? I hate that on my brother's quad, but how much do I ride at night? not much, cuz when I have time to ride at night it is butt cold in this part of the world[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

i took mine off when i had my 300 its looks alot sportier, trail tech lights were too much $ so i just got some hyper blue fog lights and mounted them onto the little bracket were te serial number is on the bumper it looked cool and it lit up alot

 

i already have little blue lights there but they dont produce much light there, especially since i havfe an ac bumper. do you have a pic of you quad? Are there any technicalities i should watch out for while taking it off?

 

nah i dont have a picture i sold it like 3 years ago. Theres really nothing to it just unbolt it take off the queer plastic cover on the handlebars and relocate the key somewhere else. I didnt mean the little 'euro' lights ppl put on the hoods of their riceburners, i meant real fog lights.

 

alright, should i jus take out the whole wire assembly for the light right out of the handlebars or wait until i attatch lights to it?

 

just take them off and place them somewhere under the fenders, u wont need them anymore
