Engine octane requirement is primarily based on combustion chamber pressure. This "combustion chamber pressure" is increased when a high compression piston is used. Normal pump gas...ie super unleaded is not racing fuel....it has less octane and would be harmful too an engine set-up for race gas. Racing fuel is usually available at speed shops or petroleum distributing locations. Hope this helps and welcome bro!

Napa does'nt carry it.....cost usually starts around $3 up per gallon. Three letters....NOS! Your ultra-reliable, 282cc, 14 horsepower engine will not live long though. If it's not in a straight line you are interested in, seat time will make you faster.

Contact White Bros and see what type of fuel they recommend in their 330 kit. Thats the safest way too go.
