Jetting 400Ex

A friend of mine wants me to rejet his 400 It has a E series slip on and k&n with no lid. What should I start out with for the main jet? and will I have to move the needle clip? Thanks

have an fmf powercore with k&n and i have a 155 main in mine. changed nothing else though. good luck.

Jetting 400Ex

I had a 400ex that I traded in last fall, I was running a 155 main, down 1 postion on the needle, K&N, no lid, and the full WB E-Series exhaust and never had any problems.
