well, if you can't wait 'till the end of this year for the new Honda sport quad to come out, then the 400EX would be your best bet

If it was me getting a new quad I would get the 400ex. Very good and dependable all around quad. I have one my husband mxmike use to race it until he got his cannondale speed. We never had any problems with it. Oh about the z400 dont get one until they change the frame I have seen about 5 frames brake at the shock mounts. We race every weekend.

everyone who races religiously knows you can't race a quad with a stock frame stock frames are not made to be raced thats why the have aftermarkets out there you can't race anything stock why? you ask cause they only give you the bare minumum so you buy and spend more money on their product

My husband raced every weekend for a year with the stock 400ex honda frame and never had any problems. Now he has a cannondale speed and races every weekend with a stock frame. So yes you can race stock frame we have been racing for 6 years now and every bike he has ever raced had the stock frames. We have had a 300ex, 3 400ex's a banchee, a cannondale fx400 and now a cannondale speed and never had any problems with the frames. I been to a lot of races and never seen any frames brake at the shock mounts before untill this year on the z400's.
