300EX vs Warror........?????

RVonSand,
you dont think that a warrior is light on jumps and trails. ok its a little heavier than the 300ex but thats not to say it cant jump as good. it is way more balanced in the air. I also have a blaster and i've cleared jumps on my warrior that my blaster cant clear. warriors are also more realiable my step dad had one for 10 years and the only thing we ever did to it was put new bearings in it.. so overall the warrior is the best quad....

I never could figure out why the 300EX would win every sport shootout it was in until I bought one. Yes, Warrior is faster for acceleration and top speed. I won't say for the rest of the categories cause I've never ridden a Warrior, but would like to. Basically, the 300EX will fit some people better and the Warrior others. Bigger persons will like the Warrior with its much larger size, and smaller will like the 300EX. That's probably the main selling point for all quads, it's what fits YOU right.
Balzie, that's a joke.
By the way, the 300EX is cheaper than the Warrior, so I think what people are getting at with the FMF pipe on the EX is that they could put that on the EX and still be at the cost of a stock Warrior.

Just filling some of you guys in that are saying the 300EX is for smaller ppl. I am 6'1" 230 lbs. I ride a 87 250X, and i feel that it fits me perfectly! I have been on a warrior, nice quad, but they just dont feel like true sport quad, it felt just the same to me in the room available. well i will check you later.

I agree a 300ex can be just as comfortable as a warror it just depends on what you like better Yamaha or HONDA Me myself like honda's better because I think thaqt they are more reliable then Yamaha but that my opinion.

Sorry. I had guy next door with 98 Warrior. I had 98 300EX - FMF pipe on Honda kicks ! Anyone with 4stroke either 250x 300ex or 400EX knows exactly what i mean. Best bang for the buck.
FMF on Warrior - is a dud. Waste of money. That is what my Warrior friend told me. Engines very different. Honda has alot of untapped power that is easily. Warrior improves top speed a little - Honda improves especially low/mid - you'll be shocked!
IF you want big and clunky and 'sofa' comfortable get Yamaha. IF you want sporty feel and light on the jumps/trails get Honda.
Thats it.

I just got a 00 300ex and I love it, it rides so smooth on the trails and it is real quik and zippy out of the turns, the suspension is a little bit better on the Honda too. If its power your looking for then the 300ex has plenty to offer!!
