Default Where is the oil filter on my Recon?

I have an EMGO oil filter for my Recon and would like to change it. I just don't know where it goes or how to get there. Anyone know?

OK, I did a search on the oil filter and I'm starting to believe that there is not one. The S.O.B. owner at the local atv crap garage sold me a filter for my Recon. ($4.95) The same place that I had ordered Pro Grip goggles from and they never called me if they ever came in. I bought the goggles somewhere else.
You'd think an atv garage would have some idea if there was a filter on the Recon. I will never step foot into that dump again! The box for the filter says: "Replacement Oil Filter for Honda atc/trx models 85-up"
#10-99200 Does anyone know which quads this will fit so I can give or sell it to someone that can use it. I would take it back but I had bought it months ago.

The oil filter they gave me is cylinder shaped. The top is metal with a black rubber around the hole in the center and 2" across. The bottom is also metal but the hole in the center is closed with metal and no rubber. It is 1 3/8" high with paper material between the top and bottom. The paper material looks like a car air filter shape but you can't see light through it like a car air filter.

sounds to me like a 400ex oil filter! the recon is the same engine as our 250ex and it doesnt have an oil filter.

Maybe I should buy a 400EX to put the oil filter in. I've had an itch for another sport quad.

the recon does fave an oil filter but it is lick an old three wheeler it is on the end of the crankshaft and as the oil is pumped through the engine the dirt gets push to the outside of the cover on the clucth on the crank. Recons and 250 ex's need the oil changed more often because of this set up. so unless you want to buy 20 to 30 dallor worth of gasket don't bother with taking it apart to clean.

I say let it rip and buy a 400 to go with that filter. The prices are great on them right now and you'll love the performance gain. Go nuts it's only money j/k
