jetjock16-My wife had one of the 250 exs when they first came out and we couldnt find a cdi for them so we went with a taller set of rear tires which of course made it higher geared but it also helped quite a bit with the rev limit problem.I dont know if you will ever have any interest in building the motor on your wifes 250 but when my wife had hers powroll took hers for a few months and did a prototype build on it and it was very fast for what it is when we got it back.If you go to powrolls website you will see a picture of a 250 ex and that was my wifes which we eventually sold but she had a lot of fun with it built up for quite a while.
