Has anyone seen or heard any of cobras 4 stroke exhaust?I was thinking of the Cobrajet system for a 300 ex,anyopinions or facts would be appreciated.I really like the looks of the cobra's mufflers compared to the others.Thanks.

 

I had a Cobra on my Quadsport. It is quite possibly the loudest pipe on the planet. Didn't you hear me back in 1987? I took it off because I hated it so much. It was way worse than my White Bros E series on my 99 Warrior.

 

they are great pipes but they are really loud take off your stocker and just leave the head pipe and thats how loud a cobra exhaust is but they do give good power and last a long time but i have heard that they can ruin your valves.

 

I had one on my 250x w/350x motor several years ago. I thought it was awesome. So much so that I just ordered one for my 91 250x. And they are much cheaper than the FMF, White Brothers,Supertrapp, or the DG. I got mine for $130 bucks.

 

My Buddy had a cobra sytem on his 300ex...It made a world of difference......But it was annoying to ride with him....On the track It was fine...But those days when we all hit the trails for a cruise...It is annoying....WAY TOO LOUD...(and he even admitted it too). I live in an area where I have neighbors...When An ATV rattles the windows warming up...that is not good.
I ride a banshee and they are not the most quiet...but the cobra was out of control for us....Glad he sold that ride. and went with the quieter 400ex.
But if sound is not an issue....go with it

 

I have a 2000 300EX and I just put a Cobra 4 stroke systems exhaust and I like it. But it is realy loud, at first I like it loud. but it is a little to loud on the trails. It is louder then grizzly with strait pipes on it.
