sorry about that forum post before.. i did one of those copy paste things and i copied the wrong thing. What i ment to write is that my friend got a 2000 blaster, he has had it for about five months.so far he has bent the alxe bad, drowned it, scratched it bad,wrecked two stock bumpers,flipped it many times wrecked the skids,wrecked the rims,and those things behind your feet broke right off. Much much more has happened to it but its too much to list. and its not his fault its the crappy blasters. Yamahas suck!!!

 

Yeah it's not your friends fault at all. Heck my wife's Blaster just flips all around in my garage at night, it's the darndest thing. Never heard of a quad getting any scratches or other damage from being severely abused like that. Geeze what a piece of junk.

Damn... I have a "Yamaha" piano and I got up the other morning and the thing was destroyed.. not only wrecked itself but took out half the house.. Is there anyone from "Yamaha" we can talk to.. We need to figure out whats going on.. Must be the name.. lol

ive had mine for 6 months and the wierdest thing nothing has happened to mine ive flipped it 3 times even put myself in hospital but the quads still fine just some stressed plasic

 

I had a 98 blaster before I wanted more and got my 250r I loved it I flipped down a big embankement and all it did was bend the bars a little it started on the first kick everytime and I had it completely submerged a couple of times I wish I still had it as a play bike my 250r is not fun to ride in the woods anymore and my 300ex is to slow.

Sounds like the guy is a pretty poor rider. Blasters are pretty good machines. For that matter most quads will last a long time if you dont abuse them. Tell you freind to go to a ATV safety course, maybe he will learn something.

hey b(250rman) I dont know where your getting that a blaster is faster than a 300 ex.. my stock 300 will kill that kids blaster.. the blaster is slower than a 300ex and why would you want a blaster over the quad that for 7 years has been rated the best trails and woods quad?? why dont you think about that for a little while. your loosing your faith in red. dont say a blaster is better honda kicks A**!! think about it and remember ride red!!!

 

How can you say that it is the Blasters fault? Get real. Lets see now.

"He bent the axle bad". Axles don't just bend by themselves.

"drowned it". I have yet to see a Blaster, or any quad for that matter, drive itself into water.

"scratched it bad". Thats a new one. Self scratching plastic. When did they start making this.

"wrecked two stock bumpers". Tell your friend to learn how to ride and stop hitting stuff.

"flipped it many times". Again, tell him to learn how to ride.

"wrecked the skids". Stop hitting stuff that you can't clear.

"wrecked the rims". Show him what the right air pressure is.

"and those things behind your feet broke right off". Those things are feet guards, and tell him to stop kicking them so hard, maybe they will stay on.

I guess what I am am saying, is How can you say this is all the Blasters fault? Sounds like you just want to cry about something, and it sounds like your friend needs some riding lessons.
