Why not just build a bridge?

We don't want to build a bridge because there are a lot of ATV's in the area and we don't want them following our tracks to our camp.

And the 400 is very powerful. It just doesn't have the ground clearance of the 450. The tourque is very good, just like you speak of. The 400 has been a very reliable work horse for our family. I have only had my 450s since October so I don't know that much about it yet.

Great pictures, you guys look like you are having a lot of fun, love the cable trick but once the quad is on the cable how do you get across , like is the cable tilted too the other side and how do you get back.
What part of NS are you from.

We have two cables, one going each way. It is tilted dowwards. We are from just outside of Halifax, the Hammonds Plains area. Thanks for the interest.

How could you ever trust a cable to hold an over 400 pund quad? And who was the first to try that one.
