Timberwolf82, certainly everyone shares my delight you're happy with your Big Bear!

However, why did you choose a Honda forum announcing your pleasure?

Do you feel you somehow owe Honda owners an explanation for your choice?

Do you wish to warn potential Honda purchasers?

Just wonderin'!

Just for clarification, I don't think the BiGBear is bad or a poor choice. My earlier mentioned friend went thru a mudhole with his 26" tires that I could not with my 25" tires. I high centered. He never had any mechanical failures or malfunctions. He just thought 1st gear was too low and 2nd was too high for the tires he was using. The Yamaha shop here has an excellent reputation and many repeat customers because of it. So, I was not intending to leave any negative impression of the BigBear. Just relating a single circumstance.

I bought a Big Bear 350 1999 model not the 400 and if you think that machine has got even one little problem you need a trip to charter...sorry i don't even know about the new 400 it looks nice but i love my 99...

Timberwolf82, again, why tell Honda forum readers of your delight with last year's Big Bear? Do you recommend potential Rancher customers buy '99 Big Bears instead? Will you likewise inform Polaris, Suzuki, Kawasaki, et al, forum readers?

This topic's title, "I hate to say it but the Big Bear 400 will out do a Rancher anyday...," appears puzzling. Why do you hate to say it? Nothing to be ashamed of; preferring any quad over another shouldn't be a painful experience.

Another small detail; in your title you mention the Big Bear 400, yet disclose you bought the 350.

No criticism implied; I merely wonder, why? What response did you expect or desire from Honda forum readers?

"a trip to charter"? A colloquialism? No reply to Tree Farmer's two interrogatives or about a 300 Honda outdoing the BigBear? And, the Rancher is better than the Honda 300! You may do better by just deleting the original post and, thus the whole topic.

I don't want to puzzle you so listen OK?
I put 400 because the Rancher is only 2000 and the 350 for the Big Bear stoped in 99..
I do NOT in anyway shape or from take what you all say for a grain of salt...If i wanted to know fact i would have to go to an experianced rider or an atv shop to compare...Your all's little stories don't hold water i hate it when i post something and you ASK SO MANY FLIPPING QUESTIONS..If you are so puzzled my lord go to another POST THEN..Stop being so critical and take it for what it is worth...I have already put in the Yamaha Posts that i got my bear and so i posted it here too...Because i like yamaha and honda the BEST...Stop being agervating and reply about what you think of the two machines not that it Puzzles you...
Thanks

Thanks for clearing everything up, Timberwolf82!

Now, I understand.

Why, its so OBVIOUS, now that you explain. Makes perfectly good sense.

You buy a Yamaha, and post about it in the Honda forum, although you hate to, invoking the NEXT year's Yamaha . . .yep, I got it now!

Silly me.
